Warning: If you want your child to get into a good college, you need to start preparing right now …
The Latest Statistics From
Major Universities Prove That
Only One Out Of Nine Applicants
Actually Gets Accepted
To
The College Of Their Choice!
Don’t Let This Happen To You!
Hi, my name is Dawn Williams, the author of
Planning for College Today, and I am concerned about your child's future. More and more parents, just like you, are discovering that it is never too early to start planning for their child's college education.
Many parents make the mistake of thinking it’s only about getting good grades during the senior year and making sure enough money is saved to pay for four years of college.
Worse yet, some parents simply make the assumption that their child will automatically receive a scholarship and get into the college of their choice. And they never give it a second thought!
What about you? If you care about your child’s future (and I know you do otherwise you wouldn’t be visiting my site right now), then the time to start planning for their future education is right here and now.

Dear Dawn,
I love your new product "Planning For College Today" and I think your perspective on the matter is really unique.
I really think Planning For College Today is one of the best products in it's market!
Congratulations and Keep Up The Great Work!

Don’t Delay The Most Important Decision
You May Ever Make About Your Child’s Future.
In my ebook, Planning for College Today, I tell you
how to start planning for your child’s future education even while they are in elementary or junior high school. What most parents fail to understand is that bad study habits start early, and what happens to your child during the formative years of primary school can have a deep and long-lasting
effects on your child’s future.
I recommend starting your plan with a serious discussion with your child. Let them know you care about their future, and ask them what they think they want to be when they get older. Now is the time to help shape their decisions that will impact the rest of their lives.
Remind them that getting into a good school and receiving a good education is as much about getting good grades and money as it is about attitude and dedication. No one gets to the top without working hard for it, and the more you can do to instill this into your
children at an early age, the better off both of you will be.
It’s All About Communication.
Do you speak to your children about their dreams? What they want to study when they grow older? What they want to be when they get out of college? Are you encouraging them to be all they can be, even before high school?
In Planning for College Today, I stress the importance of the much-overlooked practice of simply taking the time to speak with your children regularly. Make it a normal part of your week. Leave quality time to discuss important things. Don’t dictate. Listen to your children.
And start planning regular meetings with your child’s Guidance Counselor. They can shed a
great deal of light and wisdom on many topics related to school and family. Put their professional experience to work for you and your child’s future.
Even The Best Students Can Get Rejected!
No matter how hard students work, not everyone gets accepted to the school of their choice. Even a student with sterling qualifications has no room for error in the college application process, so make sure your plan for college gets very serious
by the time your child becomes a freshman in high school.
Lots of kids tend to take it easy during their initial transition to high school. Pressures from peers, friends, sports, and even first jobs can all have a negative impact on students during their freshman year.
That’s why it so critical for you to make sure your child understands that even his freshman grades contribute to his final high school GPA. Mistakes made during this time can haunt your child later in their senior
years, and in my ebook, Planning for College Today, I give you practical
advice about how to avoid the pitfalls and be prepared for the future.
As Baby Boomers Grow Older,
The Job Market Will Explode!
Yes, the job market in the future will be much
better than it is today, but will your child be poised for success with a
good college education? As the Baby Boomers age and prepare to retire, the job market is predicted to explode across the service industries, professionals and business services. Will your child be poised to succeed in tomorrow’s job market? Without a
solid plan for college they don’t stand a chance.
During the next decade, the call for professionals will rise to the highest levels ever. There will be a need for every type of person ranging from medical physicians to pilots and from lawyers to engineers.
In the years ahead, the job market will experience a veritable explosion of new jobs. But to get the job of their dreams, you will need to
start preparing your child right now.
College Admissions Have Become
More Competitive Than Ever Before!
 |
As the number of graduating high school seniors continues to rise, and the number of students choosing to attend college also increases, the landscape is going to change
dramatically. |
 |
With the cost of college also on the rise, parents need to make sure that they have a plan and are working that plan each and every day. Otherwise, they could find themselves with a high school graduate headed for a dead-end career at the local McDonalds. |
 |
It is a numbers game, and the odds against your child receiving the education they want and desire are getting worse and
worse with each passing day. The average number of colleges each senior applies to is growing, and the number of open freshman seats in each college is shrinking.
It's a fact: major universities are accepting less and less new students. |
Don’t Forget Playtime!
Extracurricular activities ranging from sports to clubs to volunteer work all play a role in helping your child get into the college of their dreams. You need to encourage your child to make wise decisions about how to best spend their free time after school.
Encourage them to experiment with everything from basketball and football to the debate team and drama. Let them develop a wide range of outside interests. Colleges offer scholarships in a variety of extracurricular activities; the more of these your child partakes in the better the chances are of them receiving financial assistance.

Testing, Testing, 1-2-3, 1-2-3 …
While most students hate taking tests, there are several that will be critical to getting into the college of their choice. These tests include the SAT and ACT exams that focus on strength and aptitude in the core courses including Math, Science, English, and Language and in some cases, Essays.
Your child needs to learn to feel comfortable taking tests and should practice as much as possible. They should be encouraged to study frequently to help develop their level of understanding in these core areas and to develop confidence in their knowledge and skills.
In my past experience as a teacher, tutor and mentor, I have found that even the brightest children do poorly on these standardized exams, so help them to gain a comfort level by teaching them good test-taking skills. For those who are particularly concerned about these exams, practice tests such as the PSAT are very helpful in identifying weaknesses and setting the stage for the real thing.
In my ebook, Planning for College Today, I provide you with the facts and
tips you need to prepare your child for these exams properly.
Teach Your Children Well.
As your children get older and mature, they will begin to exhibit a variety of forms of stress from school and peers and even from competing interests such as sports. Teach them to
recognize the symptoms of emotional, physical and environmental stress.
And arm them with the tools they'll need to deal with stress in healthy ways and not to internalize their problems, fears or frustrations.
This is another appropriate time to visit your child’s Guidance Counselor and allow a professional to make observations and recommendations for help dealing with stress.
And in Planning for College Today, you'll learn more invaluable tips just
like these to help your child survive during their crucial and challenging high
school years.
